1. General Policy

We value our customers and aim to ensure that all products purchased from us meet your expectations. Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to choose products carefully. We do not normally offer refunds if you simply change your mind, make the wrong decision, or order in error.

Returns, refunds, or exchanges are only permitted under the circumstances outlined below and in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Customers will be entitled to request a refund, exchange, or repair under the following conditions:

  • Goods are defective within the warranty period.
  • Goods are incorrectly described, faulty, or different from the sample shown.
  • Goods fail to perform as advertised.
  • The request is made within 10 business days of purchase for wrongly described or non-performing products.
3. Warranty

All goods supplied by Computer World Kuilsriver carry a six-month warranty from the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.

Customers may request a refund, replacement, or repair for defective goods within this period.

The warranty is void if:

  • Goods are altered, modified, or repaired by anyone other than Computer World Kuilsriver or without prior written consent.
  • Goods are misused, abused, or not used according to the provided instructions and specifications.
  • Damage occurs due to fire, flood, power surges, civil disturbance, or any act of God.
  • The customer cannot provide the original Tax Invoice.
4. Exclusions & Special Conditions
  • Consumables & health-related products (e.g., food supplements):
  • Cannot be returned once opened or altered, unless defective.
  • Refund, exchange, or repair will only be processed if found defective within the warranty period or if wrongly described, different from sample, or do not perform as intended.
  • Software, digital products, and licenses:
  • Non-refundable once activated, downloaded, or registered, unless defective or not as described.
  • Sale or clearance items:
  • old “as is” and not eligible for return unless defective under the CPA.
5. Return Process

To return an item:

  1. Contact our customer service team at [insert phone/email] within the allowed timeframe.
  2. Provide proof of purchase (original Tax Invoice).
  3. Return the product in its original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
  4. Returns will be inspected before processing.

Note: We may charge a handling fee of up to 15% on non-defective goods returned at our discretion and accepted by management.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment (unless otherwise agreed).

Refunds may take up to 7–10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank/payment provider.
